REVIEW-- L'Oreal Rouge Signature Matte Lip Ink
If you've seen my post about Influenster, then you'll know I'm a big fan of getting free makeup. Influenster sent me the new L'Oreal Rouge Signature Matte Lip Ink to review (for my real, honest opinion). Here are the quick review points:
The Pros-
The look of the product is very classic-- frosted matte bullet style tubes with matte black caps. And while looks can be deceiving, the packaging sets up a classic, and elegant, style. It also isn't too clunky, so it makes keeping it in your purse on the go super easy.
The actual product goes on very nicely. It isn't too drying, isn't sticky, and it dries down quickly so you can apply on the go.
The product is pigmented, but the lighter colors tend to need re-application more often than some of the darker colors.
The Cons-
The color selection is very limited: you have your nudes, a bold red, some darker colors, and a few berry colors thrown in the mix. If you like the more subtle colors, then these are for you.
The price for this ranges anywhere from $9-$11. It's a little pricey for a drugstore lip product, but if there's one color that you're interested in, it's definitely worth trying.
Overall: Would Recommend
On its own, it's a good liquid lip, especially at the drug store. In comparison to the rest of the products at the drug store, I think it's on the upper end. The color selection makes it a little more difficult to really utilize the selection but if you find one or two you like, I'd definitely recommend checking it out!
